FROM OLOIBIRI TO BONNY

In this book, Godswill S. Ihetu shares his remarkable journey from Oloibiri to Bonny. His encounters from joining the petroleum industry at age eighteen as a trainee technician in Shell-British Petroleum to his rise to leadership in the petroleum industry as Managing Director in both the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) and the Nigeria Gas Company (NGC) and eventual retirement from the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) as Group Executive Director. This book narrates his pioneering roles in the different institutions that shaped the Nigerian petroleum industry, the early government steps and missteps, the politics preceding the incorporation of NNPC and a historical account of the overall development of the petroleum industry in Nigeria.
