The Story of a Sickle Cell patient who underwent 7 years of hospitalization in the crucial part of her life. And after having experienced so many surgeries and other treatments, was able to successfully rid herself of the disease through genetic engineering, particularly Bone Marrow Transplant. The book is principally aimed at giving hope to Sickle Cell patients in Nigeria. It is part of her advocacy first, for people to know their genotype. Secondly, for couples to ensure that they are not bringing a child into this suffering. And lastly, it is targeted at Sickle Cell patients to bring hope and help them realize that they are no longer in an unsavory condition. She hopes for this book to be a light of hope not only to Sickle Cell Patients, but to anyone fighting any form of battle.
